Any size target can be easily ranged using a simple formula: Target size in inches /MOA x 100 = Range in yards
To determine the range of an object in yards: 1. Determine the targets size in inches. 2. Divide that number by the amount of MOA on the reticle. 3. Multiply the number by 100.
Example: 18" target, target height is 6 MOA. The range to the target is 300 yards. (18 Divided by 6 = 3 x 100 = 300 yards)
